Growing up in the heart of Los Angeles, DJ EyeQ was exposed to the dynamic musical climate of the bustling city at an early age.  DJing came to him in 1999 and then in the early 2000’s linked up with the At Large Crew doing various hip hop shows, clubs, and house parties where he fine-tuned his mixing and scratching abilities.  Although spinning out party classics of the 80’s and 90’s was his passion, EyeQ was always an electronic music DJ at heart.  In 2009 EyeQ found an instant click with the BWOMP! Crew where neighbor and crewmember Richard Sweat introduced him to dubstep and the rest of the BWOMP! homies.  Although late in the game, EyeQ found himself as the newest BWOMP! member and subsequently, a home in the bass music community thanks to his appetite to rock crowds, swift mixing, and turntable trickery.  To date, he owes his DJing career to his respect for all genres of music and moreover, his undying love for bass music.
